This is mostly a test post but I would like to add some context on the day I am writing it for notoriety sake. It is Thursday, July 9th, 2020 and I’m sitting at my folks condo fiddling with this WordPress website, trying to figure out how it all works.
A lot of these posts are going to be political rants. I’m going to be very honest about that. What’s going on in the world nowadays, a huge part of why I started this website was a place I could vent my thoughts. There are many things to be angry about and I wanted a forum to write things down. I don’t care if no one will ever read this, I hope someday these posts may be fun to go back through.
I recently finished the book “Hidden in Plain Sight” by Sarah Kendzior, which I cannot recommend enough. She wrote an op-ed in 2016 saying “write things down”. Her point was that it was important to remember who you are because things are going to change. You need to remember what you’re okay with. This is part of the reason why I am starting this blog. If you are reading this, I honestly hope you are as well as you can in your life and would be honored to have you follow me moving forward.
